Team S.T.A.R. conducted an experiment to help discover what angles the mirrors of our payload should be at for the cameras to be able to see Venus and take pictures as it rotates. In this experiment, two people were positioned offset from each other on a merry-go-round holding a mirror at an angle; three other people pushed the merry-go-round. The people holding the mirrors said, "See it" everytime they saw a red car that was positioned in the parking lot and counted how many times they saw it. This helped the team conclude what angle would be best for the mirrors and that the mirrors should be offset from each other.
